The Barakah Beauty Collective crew is excited to host our Barakah Book Club series the first Friday of every month! This is open to women of all faith backgrounds.
Book Club will meet 7-9pm at Barakah Beauty Collective, 540 NE Northgate Way, Suite B, Seattle, WA 98125.
Donations accepted to help cover costs, but are not required!
Registration is required.
**This an adult women event. Small babies are welcome as long as they are in their strollers/car seats for their safety.Â

Come as you are to learn and enjoy a group of sisters increasing our knowledge through fun discussions and a non-judgement zone.

The current reading is Women and Gender in Islam by Celene Ibrahim.
The reading reschedule for the remainder of 2024 is:Â
Friday, September 6th 7-9pm: Intro & Chapter 1
Friday, October 4th, 7-9pm: Chapter 2
Friday, November 1st, 7-9pm: Chapter 3
Friday, December 6th, 7-9pm: Chapter 4 & Conclusion
The readings will be determined by the women who register for this book club.Â
You can purchase your books from whatever source you prefer. Links above are only provided for quick reference to the understand each book's content/focus.
Process:
1. Register - include an accurate email and phone number.
2. Yumna will add you to a Whatsapp group.
3. Follow her instruction for reading, etc.
4. Come to have fun and discuss the book you choose!
