From the Bobbin Workshop: Session 3

Session 3 — Sunday, June 14, 1-5PM: Bring Your Project

Come with something you've been wanting to make. Instructors will help you get started, troubleshoot, and move forward.

From the Bobbin is a 3-part beginner sewing workshop series for women, hosted at Barakah Beauty Collective and led by Michaela Corning and Olayinka Ola of Ayo Collections. Designed for women who have had a sewing machine and a passion for design but haven't been able to start, this series offers hands-on instruction, community support, and a clear path from first stitch to first project. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines, we have limited slots available for those without a machine.

Registration will close 24h before the start of each session. Cancellations will not receive a refund if cancelled less than 48h before the start of the session.

A limited number of machines will be available for those who don't have one.
