This one-of-one garment debuted on the Threads of Renewal 2026 runway. The listed price is the opening bid. Bidding closes Monday, September 21 at 8 pm Pacific. The piece will be sold to the highest bidder when the auction closes. The opening bid reflects the garment's retail price. Of any amount raised above retail, 70% will benefit Barakah Beauty Collective and 30% will go to the artist. The highest bidder at closing wins the piece.

Created for the Threads of Renewal runway and part of the Americana: Out-of-the-Box collection, this two-piece set reimagines traditional South Asian textiles through an easy, unrestrictive streetwear lens. The set includes an oversized t-shirt cut from oceanic turquoise satin brocade with an ornate gold center stripe, paired with fully reversible drawstring trousers. Wear the pants on the vibrant magenta side for a striking color-blocked contrast, or flip them inside out to match the turquoise and gold of the top for a seamless, monochrome look.

Finished with a generous, fluid drape and an adjustable natural rope cord, the set is designed to adapt effortlessly to your body, balancing rich cultural craft with uncompromising everyday comfort.

What’s Included: One oversized short-sleeve top and one pair of fully reversible drawstring trousers.

Textiles & Craft: Handmade by me in Seattle from textiles recycled through the BBC Community Closet. Because everything is rescued and repurposed, this collection is deeply sustainable, but I cannot guarantee exact fabric composition. These fabrics are most likely a cotton-poly blend, which is extremely common for Indian textiles, leaning heavier toward cotton or poly depending on the section.

Care: Hand wash or run on a delicate cycle using mild, scent-free detergent. Hang dry to protect the metallic threads.

Lifetime Repair Promise: Clothes should stay in your closet, not a landfill. If this piece ever rips, pops a seam, or needs structural care, send it back. While I can’t promise a miracle on catastrophic damage, I will always do my absolute best to fix it for free for the life of the garment.
